"We are Laura & Nora, a photographer and stylist couple from Berlin. Last year we started to renovate our first holiday rental and location rental called St. Oak Apartments.

It's located in a beautiful and charming small town called Kyritz, north of Berlin. The town is characterized by many lovely old buildings, cobblestone streets and thanks to the nearby lake it's a wonderful place to escape the big city life -especially during summer. Just in front of the building we have a wonderful and calming 200 year old oak tree - the only oak tree out of initially three that survived a fire. Hence the name St. Oak.

It was a year of renovations and a complete makeover of the space before we could open it to the public this spring. We took out old plastic doors, had to remove the complete floor, repainted the old wooden windows and brought fresh life into this beautiful old building from 1911. A big part of the renovation was the garden-makeover. We have a very charming little backyard with ivy covered walls and knew we wanted to transform this into a secret little garden where our guests can read, relax or cook a wonderful summer meal. Thanks to the beautiful bamboo garden furniture from Tine K home the backyard is extra cozy now. What we really like about bamboo furniture is that it not only looks very beautiful, it's also the most comfortable garden furniture we know. We are so happy with this beautiful little spot and our guests absolutely love it as well!"
