BAMBOO

Bamboo is a natural material and can develop patina. Even though your bamboo piece is treated with Woca® water-based natural exterior wood oil different mold levels may occur while using bamboo outside. It will vary from the specific geographical region and local weather conditions — like temperature, rain, air humidity.

 

You can extend lifespan of your bamboo furniture for many years by following below steps:

1. Use included light covers during season. Remember to remove cushion to avoid mold on these.

2. Keep bamboo furniture’s in dry, and ventilated place after summer season, we do not recommend to stand outside all year.

3. Wash and oil bamboo furniture using BAMCAREKIT at least twice a year — beginning and end of season, and, if necessary, also during season.

 

The most effective way of cleaning your bamboo (outdoor):

1. Wear gloves before starting.

2. Apply the Woca® deep clean gel or another deep clean wood detergent on your furniture, leave it for 20 minutes on the furniture to have optimal effect.

3. Most effectively rinse the furniture with a high-pressure water cleaner or, if not available by hands, sponge and water and let it dry.

4. For tables use the included sandpaper sponge on tabletop, sand lightly.

5. After the cleaning process, and the furniture is all dry, apply Woca® water based natural exterior wood oil with brush or sponge.

To clean spray glass cleaner on cloth, not directly on mirror surface.

Metal frame can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Avoid acid liquids such as wine and lemon.

Clean surfaces with a mild detergent or stone soap, wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Our ceramic vases are handmade why size and shape may vary.

They are not waterproof, recommend using an extra container or glass vase inside to prevent water leakage or moist underneath.

CUTLERY

Our stainless-steel cutlery is stain resistant.

Do not leave stainless-steel cutlery wet or for long periods as corrosion, pitting or staining can occur. If rust spots should appear, the products have been washed in dishwasher with iron items. Remove spots with a rough kitchen sponge.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

 

GLLATTE / GLTEA / GLWATER

Suitable for cold and hot drinks. To prevent cracking, always wait one minute before pouring the water, or place a metal spoon in the glass before you pour boiled water into it. Dishwasher safe.

For safety reasons, we recommend that you light only one candle in the lantern at a time.

Never lift lanterns from the top as they may break.

Our vases and jars in clay are handmade and size and shape and colour may vary.

Not waterproof. We recommend using a saucer under pots to prevent leaking.

RATTAN

All rattan furniture is made by hand and each piece is unique. Colour may vary.

Use a soft moist cloth and mild soap when cleaning.

Do not use abrasive cleaning products as this will damage the natural coating.

Indoor use only.

Seat cushion covers in Ica cotton and Joplin linen. Dry clean only.

 

RUGS

JUTE

Hand-weaved in 100% jute. Jute is a natural fiber and dyed with -natural colour.

Coloured rugs may discolour the floor below. Use underlay.

Variations and small knots may occur. Jute can be discoloured by stains and sunlight. Never shake the rugs as this may cause the threads to break.

KORU

FSC-certified European oak. Refresh your black oil treated wood furniture when needed. We recommend Woca® Worktop oil. Avoid placing the furniture near heat sources, as this can cause the wood to dry out. Exposure to excessive moisture or large temperature fluctuations should also be avoided, as this can affect the wood. Screws must be tightened after one week of use.

JATI

SVLK-certified teak root. Due to the nature of the material the surface may be uneven and small holes occur.

TEAK

FSC-certified teak. Naturally sanded and treated with a water-based topcoat.

Wipe spills immediately. Before storing the furniture in off-seasons, please ensure all moisture collected in the frame has been drained and wiped dry. Over time, the wood will acquire a natural greyish patina. To keep the warm colour of teak, treat the wood with oil intended for teak wood.

Indoor and outdoor use.

NUSA

SVLK-certified teak root. All NUSA products are food safe. Variations in colour, shape and structure are part of the design and evitable when using teak root.

Hand-wash only.

 

For all furniture to be assembled, the screws must be tightened one week after

use.
