The Story

Tine K Home I/S was founded in 1999 by Tine Kjeldsen and her husband Jacob Fossum. The couple live on Funen with their three children; Klara, Tilde and Konrad.

Tines style is a mixture of bohemian living, elegant simplicity and botanical living. Inspired by travel and nature, Tine combines colors and traditional crafts to collections that with their consistent Scandinavian simplicity fits so nicely in the times design trend.

The collection consists of interior, fabrics and furniture based on Tines own designs as well as the unique finds from various overseas trips in particular Vietnam, Morocco and India.

With respect for history, culture and traditional handcraft, Tine creates a series of clean and elegant style which together results in timeless collections where colors and materials are in focus. Tines passion for dusty colors and raw materials shines through in both the furniture collections as well as home accessories series.

”It is the contrast between the light and dark colours that creates style and atmosphere. The darker tones you often get from old objects, furniture and rugs from the far East. I love hand crafted interior which are rich in history and soul”. Tine.

Exporting items from the Tine K Home Collection on a large scale was proving to be a logistical nightmare, while packing and shipping were also time-consuming for the company. That’s where UPS stepped in. A combination of advanced UPS technology and ongoing collaboration means that Tine K Home can focus on selling their goods – which include unique handmade items co-founder Tine Kjeldsen finds on her visits to Vietnam, China and Morocco – to just about anywhere in the world.
