We deliver items to all countries. All items will be shipped from our head office in Odense, Denmark, where it is carefully prepared and packed. All delivery times depend on the country of destination:
Denmark: app. 4-5 working days
Europe: app. 5-7 working days
Rest of the world: app. 8-10 working days
Please note that the delivery times are only estimates and may unavoidably be extended by bad weather conditions, bank holidays, holiday seasons or busy periods in general.
Most of our stock is shipped by UPS. UPS offer an option of 2 day express delivery compared to the standard times.
Important information: Our drivers work week days between 8.00-18.00. We recommend that you complete the alternative delivery address on the freight form if you already know that you will not be home when your products will be delivered. Your work address could be an option. Please note that we cannot deliver to a postbox and products cannot be delivered without a signature from the receiver.
Unfortunately we don’t have the option to change the delivery address if we have already processed the order.
It is also possible to pick up your order from our head office in Odense. You can do this by choosing this option at checkout, and the pick up will be arrange with tinekhome when the order is ready.
Freight costs will be added to your order upon checkout. The freight costs will depend on the total weight of the order or whether the products are fragile or not.

The freight costs to the rest of the world will be calculated upon checkout.
Please note: large/or fragile items like furniture, rails, large lanterns, heavy pots etc. will require special arrangements during transportation and will therefore incur an additional freight cost. If a product require such special arrangement this will appear on the product description in the webshop and the freight cost will be listed at checkout when the delivery address has been completed.
All costs with reference to your order will be listed at checkout before payment.
When ordering heavy furniture like our cabinets and sofas, we would like to point out that the delivery is to the pavement of your property therefore we recommend that you arrange assistance to help carry the furniture into your home.
Please note that tinekhome are not responsible for any additional cost caused directly or indirectly by force majure events such as strike, lockout or other situations over which tinekhome have no control.
Tax is not included in the price and will be confirmed at checkout. As tax varies from country to country unfortunately we are unable to confirm the amount you will have to pay in tax. We recommend you contact UPS for more information about the tax rules in your country – www.ups.com
You can always track your order as a tracking number will be listed in a email to you when the order has been dispatched. You will be able to track your order including the date for delivery.
Please note that it is not possible for us to provide tracking orders for furniture and other large products. A delivery day will be agreed which is convenient to you and you will be contacted by our customer service department before the order departs from the warehouse.
We will attempt to deliver your UPS delivery 3 times; however if none of these are successful your order will be returned to tinekhome. A new freight cost will be charged if you require the products to be re-delivered.

A return note will be sent with every order. If the return note is missing from your order please contact tinekhome by email and one will be sent to you. The return note is important as it enable us to identify the delivery in question upon arrival at our warehouse.
The product needs to be returned to tinekhome within 14 days from the date of delivery and you will have to cover the cost of returning the product to tinekhome in Denmark.
A refund for a return product will be paid to customer’s account within 14 days from receiving the product and the return note.
If the return product fails to be received by tinekhome, we cannot cover the costs involved. If the product is not in the same condition as it was when it left the warehouse for delivery, tinekhome will charge an amount covering the loss of value to the product and the net amount will be paid to the customers account.
Please note that customized furniture cannot be returned.
If you wish to order a product in another color or size we will need to complete a new order in the webshop.
It’s important to us that you receive the best service possible and that all our products meet your expectations. Should you unexpectedly have received a defect or wrong item, please send an email to [email protected].
If you want to report a claim, the form below will have to be completed. Photos of the damaged product or product with defects will be needed to support your claim. The photos are important to us as we use them as proof to show to our suppliers and freight forwarders.
Further information regarding claims
Please note that any damage that is visible on delivery should be notified immediately. Any damage which is discovered after unpacking must be reported within 7 days of delivery via email to [email protected].
If the claim is accepted, tinekhome will cover the cost of a new replacement product. If the replacement product is not available, the price of the product will be credited to the customer within 30 days. Please note that some replacement products can be subject to tax which are not covered by tinekhome.
If a product is damaged more severely, please complete the claim procedure including photos and send it to the customer service department before sending the product back. tinekhome will then contact you with instructions on how to proceed.
The buyer will cover the cost for return freight if a product is returned to tinekhome without any confirmation that the claim form has been – and can be - approved by tinekhome.
All stock in the webshop are subject to the Danish consumer protection law. This means that buyers can make a complaint of damaged or defective products up to 24 months from the date of purchase.

Confirmation & Receipt
After finalizing an order with payment, you will receive an automated email from tinekhome which confirms that we have received your order. Please note that this email is not a final acceptance of your order. When the order is packed and shipped from our warehouse you will receive a final confirmation and receipt via email.
The receipt will only include the listed items. tinekhome is therefore not liable for delivering other items which have been part of the order but have sold out. A seperate receipt or invoice on those remaining items will be sent to you. See section (Sold out items)
Price & payment
We make every effort to ensure that the prices for products displayed in the webshop are correct. All prices are including Danish tax but do not include freight cost. The freight cost will be confirmed at checkout when the delivery address has been completed. There is no Danish tax on orders from private customers outside the EU.
tinekhome accepts the following payment cards:
The chosen payment card has to be in the name of the buyer. All payment card holders are subject to validation control and approval from the card provider. If the transaction is not approved the order will be cancelled.
By using a foreign payment card, a fee will be added in relation to the total amount. The fee will depend on type of payment card which will be confirmed at checkout.
Payment via MobilePay is possible for Danish customers. You can choose this payment option in the last payment window.
Retention of title
tinekhome retain title to the products until payment for the products and freight has been made.
tinekhome return the right to change the prices and delivery terms without prior notification. These changes will not effect orders which we have already accepted by a receipt or invoice via email.
It’s important to us that you feel safe when shopping online at tinekhome. Our payment system works in cooperation with Nets. All payment data which is sent between the browser and tinekhome will be encrypted. In the top left corner of your browser, you can see if an internet site is encrypted and all encryption take place via a SSL-server (Secure Socket Server). It means that all information will be send via a third party secure connection and your bank information cannot be seen or read by any outsider.
Sold out items & Reservation
The webshop - tinekhome.com – features the entire tinekhome collection. If a product is not in stock, it will appear in the product display in the webshop. In some cases it will be possible to reserve an item and in that case tinekhome will send you an email with information when the product is back in stock.
If you have reserved and/or paid for a product which is subsequently out of stock or discontinued, the order for this product will be cancelled and any monies will be returned to you.
Product information & Colors
The product information in our webshop has an exact description to match each product. Every effort is made to ensure that the product corresponds as closely as possible to the pictures displayed online. However, variations can occur. These could include, but are not limited to, slight differences in shades of fabric, color, texture or dimensions of products.
The make of the products & Origin
The majority of the tinekhome collection is handmade in Vietnam, India, Morocco and Portugal. Please note that due to the nature of handmade items, there might be slight imperfections and some products may have minor variations.
All lamps in the collection are compatible with 40W bulbs, energy class A++ to E.
Free gift wrapping can be selected at checkout. Note that this service is only applicable to small/normal product sizes and for private customers only.

Third party retailers
On our website we link to other websites or companies who sell our products. For that matter tinekhome can not garentee that products bought via third party retailers have same service and trade terms as tinekhome.
Jurisdiction & Special rules
Any disputes between buyer and tinekhome under the interpretation of tinekhome’s trade terms will be ruled by the Sø- og Handelsretten in Copenhagen in Denmark in relation to Danish law with Danish as the legal/valid language.
Information on options for complaints
A complaint over an item bought at tinekhome can be submitted to the Konkurrence- & Forbrugerstyrelsens Center for Klageløsning, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can also complain to the Center for Klageløsning viawww.forbrug.dk.
The EU-Commissions online complaint portal can also be used to submit a complaint. It is relevant for you if you live in another EU country. Complaints can besubmitted here. By submitting a complaint, you are entitled to provide them with our email address info(a)tinekhome.dk

Have you received a voucher it can be redeemed in the same manner as with gift cards. On your voucher you'll find a unique code which is valid for the period specified on the voucher and the discount that the amount has been set to.
