Terms & conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made by private customers through the webshop www.tinekhome.com.

By visiting and using our website, and by placing an order, you accept the terms outlined below.

3. Communication

By using our website, you accept that communication between you and Tine K Home primarily takes place by email.


4. Orders, confirmation & receipt

After placing an order and completing payment, you will receive an automated email confirming that we have received your order. This email does not constitute a final acceptance.

A binding agreement is entered once your order has been packed and shipped from our warehouse. At this point, you will receive a final confirmation and receipt by email.

The receipt includes only the items shipped. If parts of an order become unavailable or sold out, these items will be cancelled and refunded separately.


5. Prices, payment & taxes

All prices are shown in the selected currency and include Danish VAT, unless otherwise stated. Freight costs are not included and will be calculated at checkout once the delivery address has been completed.

Orders placed by customers outside the EU are exempt from Danish VAT. Local customs duties, import taxes, and fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. Tine K Home is not responsible for such charges.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. The payment card must be issued in the name of the buyer. All transactions are subject to validation and approval by the card issuer.

Payment will only be charged once the goods leave our warehouse.

Fees may apply when using foreign payment cards. Any applicable fee will be clearly shown at checkout.

MobilePay is available for Danish customers.


6. Retention of title

Tine K Home retains ownership of the products until full payment, including freight costs, has been received.


7. Price changes & errors

Tine K Home reserves the right to change prices and delivery terms without prior notice. These changes do not affect orders already confirmed by receipt or invoice.

In the event of obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to correct the price, even after order confirmation, if the price clearly deviates from the normal price level. We will contact you immediately should this occur.


8. Security

All payments are processed through secure, encrypted connections in cooperation with Nets.
Payment details are transmitted via SSL encryption and cannot be accessed by unauthorised third parties.


9. Product availability & sold-out items

Our webshop displays the full Tine K Home collection. Products that are temporarily unavailable will appear as sold out.

For selected items, you may sign up for a restock reminder. If you have paid for an item that later becomes unavailable or discontinued, the item will be cancelled and refunded.


10. Product information & handmade items

We strive to present our products as accurately as possible. Variations in colour, texture, dimensions, and finish may occur.

Many of our products are handmade in Vietnam, India, Morocco, and Portugal. Minor variations and small imperfections are a natural part of handmade craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

11. Third-party retailers

Our website may link to third-party retailers selling Tine K Home products.
Purchases made through third parties are subject to their own terms and conditions, which may differ from those of Tine K Home.

 

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

12. Worldwide shipping & delivery time

We ship worldwide from our warehouse in Odense, Denmark.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Denmark: approx. 1–2 working days

  • Europe: approx. 5–7 working days

  • Rest of the world: depends on destination

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, public holidays, customs procedures, or peak periods.

Most orders are shipped with GLS or DHL. Express delivery options may be available.

Deliveries take place on weekdays between 08:00 and 18:00. Delivery to PO boxes is not possible, and a signature is required upon delivery.

Once an order has been processed, the delivery address cannot be changed.

Orders may also be collected from our Odense warehouse by prior arrangement.


13. Freight costs

Freight costs are calculated at checkout and depend on order size, weight, and destination.

Large or fragile items such as furniture, rails, lanterns, or heavy pots require special handling and may incur additional freight costs. These costs will be clearly stated at checkout.

Furniture deliveries are curbside only. Customers are responsible for arranging assistance to carry items into their home.

Tine K Home is not responsible for additional costs caused directly or indirectly by force majeure events, including strikes, lockouts, or circumstances beyond our control.


14. Undelivered items

GLS will make one delivery attempt. If unsuccessful, your order will be redirected to the nearest ParcelShop. If the package is not collected within 7-10 days, it will be returned to Tine K Home. Please note that an additional shipping fee will apply for any redelivery requests


15. Tracking

A tracking number will be sent by email once your order has been dispatched.

Tracking is not available for furniture and other large items. In these cases, a delivery date will be arranged directly with our customer service team.

Returns, Refunds & Claims

16. Right of return

You have the right to return most products within 14 days from the date of delivery.

Please note:
There is no right of return on soft furniture, including upholstered and customised furniture items.

Customers are responsible for generating a return label and for all return shipping costs.

17. Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original cardholder within 14 days after we have received and approved the returned item.

Freight costs for both purchase and return are non-refundable.

If a returned product is not in the same condition as when it left our warehouse, we reserve the right to deduct an amount reflecting the loss of value.

Alternatively, you may choose to receive a voucher for use on tinekhome.com.


18. Claims & defective items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

Visible transport damage must be reported immediately upon delivery. Damage discovered after unpacking must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

Claims must include photos documenting the damage or defect. Do not return damaged items without prior written approval from Tine K Home.

If a claim is approved, we will offer a replacement. If a replacement is unavailable, the purchase amount will be refunded within 30 days. Please note that local taxes on replacement items are not covered by Tine K Home.

All products are covered by Danish consumer protection law, allowing claims for defects for up to 24 months from the date of purchase.


19. Intellectual property

All content on www.tinekhome.com, including images, text, logos, and design, is the property of Tine K Home A/S and may not be copied, distributed, or used without prior written consent.


20. Privacy & data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

21. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law.
Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts, with Danish as the legal language.
